I love short stories also, and Nine Stories has some gems in it. I was sad to learn of Salinger's passing, but since he supposedly had a bunch of novels and short stories squirreled away in his New Hampshire home, maybe his heirs will publish them and we'll have new Salinger fiction to read in the coming years.
